This fake is a newly produced reenactor saber with a fake date and CSA stamped in the guard to deceived people. The leather is too new and nothing matches any know period made Confederate sabers.  Anytime CSA and a date is stamped on the blade or guard, BE CONCERN, it is a fake!  I have never seen a real Confederate saber made like this or with the stamp.
